A very un-winter-like day with temperatures in the upper 60’s had many folks headed outside to enjoy the warmth. This preview of spring was also enjoyed by a flock of ring-billed gulls. These particular gulls were soaring directly over the reflecting pool in front of the U. S. Capitol as they waited to descend on another group of tourists willing to part with some food.
