This is a picture taken at sunset looking over Belmont Bay from the shoreline at Mason Neck State Park.  Just out of frame to the right in the distance is the I-95 highway. The park is a well known habitat for bald eagles (I observed 5 adults and 1 immature eagle during my 2 hours at the park).  The park wages a battle with massive shoreline erosion each year due to the loss of plant life in the bay.
