I came across the Sandpiper above and grabbed a shot before it took flight. \u00a0I believe this particular bird is called a Solitary Sandpiper.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Just moments after this bird flew off, I spotted a beaver swimming towards me, soon followed by a second beaver. \u00a0They both stopped near the boardwalk to enjoy a nice breakfast and did not \u00a0seem to care at all about their proximity to me or other visitors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1226\" title=\"_MSW0652\" src=\"http:\/\/mikewalkerphotography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/MSW0652-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"478\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mikewalkerphotography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/MSW0652-1024x680.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/mikewalkerphotography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/MSW0652-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Leaving the beavers to walk farther in the park, I came across the spider web below. \u00a0The fairly large web was lit up by the bright morning sun, as long as you were looking at just the right angle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1227\" title=\"_MSW0682\" src=\"http:\/\/mikewalkerphotography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/MSW0682-680x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"435\" height=\"655\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mikewalkerphotography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/MSW0682-680x1024.jpg 680w, https:\/\/mikewalkerphotography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/MSW0682-199x300.jpg 199w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 435px) 100vw, 435px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">On the way out of the park, I stopped to photograph a Great Egret as it scanned the water for its next meal. \u00a0There was a good number of Great Egrets here today, along with a smaller number of Great Blue Herons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1228\" title=\"_MSW0703\" src=\"http:\/\/mikewalkerphotography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/MSW0703-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"478\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mikewalkerphotography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/MSW0703-1024x680.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/mikewalkerphotography.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/MSW0703-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just a very nice morning today in this area, nice temps and a clear blue sky. \u00a0I drove to Huntley Meadows to check out the wildlife. \u00a0There were already a number of photographers there shooting photos of a large group of Great Egrets in the park.
