I’ve been spending a lot of time at Huntley Meadows over the past couple of weeks.  Each time I have been there, it has been hard to keep up with all of the bird activity.  The birds didn’t seem to mind all of the people activity and this led to getting some nice closeup photographs.  The young mallard above was much more interested in enjoying the day rather than being concerned about some guy pointing a big lens in its direction.

Even the ducklings seemed at ease without mom around.

The Barn Swallow below was in no hurry to fly away from its nearby perch and I was able to take a number of photographs.  This shot of the swallow was my favorite.
