A snowstorm last Monday and six days later, 80 degree temps….  the weather was great for this weekend’s Meadowlark Nature Photography Expo in Vienna, VA.  On Friday, I attended the presentation by keynote speaker, Bruce Dale.  Bruce has had over 2,000 pictures published in National Geographic and about as many stories to tell. Then, there were continuous lectures throughout Saturday and Sunday filled with outstanding photography instruction from professional photographers, Jim Clark, Corey Hilz, Tony Sweet, Wil Hersberger, Mary Louise Ravese, Joseph Rossbach, Josh Taylor, Ian Plant and Wayne Wolfersberger.  The expo also featured a juried exhibition of 200 photographs from six local camera clubs and a number of vendor booths.  A great weekend of learning and inspiration to the hundreds who attended to get out and start taking pictures.
