There are plenty of signs of Spring in the area. Trees are budding and the birds of the season are starting to appear in greater numbers, although the scene above doesn’t really provide any evidence of these signs. It is an abstract of a group of trees I found in the morning with the nice light of sunrise casting a soft glow. However, the image below does show the red buds that are now visible on the trees along with a Great Blue Heron and its reflection in the wetlands.
I spotted a variety of ducks in pairs such as the male and female Hooded Merganser and the male and female Wood Duck (shown below) here at Huntley Meadows park. There was plenty of other wildlife activity going an I’ll have some of those images in my next post.
I’ve been trying to get some abstract trees myself, love the colors in yours! That bottom shot of the wood ducks is really nice with the reflection.
Beautiful images! The picture of the wood ducks is wonderful. Such beautiful birds!
