A good start

_MSW9074

The workshop got off to a great start as we headed to Moss Glenn Falls.  The falls are a popular tourist site, located just a few feet off a main road. We may head back here if there is a hard rain to see the change in the falls.  The rest of the day we roamed the countryside stopping to photograph the color of the surrounding hills.

Hi Mike, I like this shot of Moss Glenn Falls as most of my shots of the Falls were tightly cropped but I love the way you’ve used the boulder in the foreground and the lead up to the Falls. I did not see that at all amongst the bustle of tourist snappers not to mention rain 8)). Beautiful.

Thanks Roger for the nice comments. There WERE lots of tourists, not to mention the cars speeding by!!

Fall in New England

I’m in Vermont for the next couple of days attending a photography workshop.  Before the workshop started, I went out this morning to get a glimpse of the scenery.  The trees are changing into their autumn colors with some areas around here almost at peak color.  The streams are full after several days of rain, that will make the waterfalls nice.  So it looks like it’s going to be a great couple of days shooting photos.
